The Heat sink i got is massive but luckily it just fit the board. The motherboard was simple to setup requiring no jumpers to be set and it has a very good layout too. one thing got me though their are no pins on the CPU! instead they're in CPU socket, When did Intel do that? Any way every thing was setup within an hour or so and ready for an OS install.

The Q6600 G0 SLACR overclocks very well, i managed to get it upto a stable 3.1ghz without upping the voltage or changing the multiplier! Temperatures are a little high under load around 50c and 40c without overclocking.

I was able to play GTA:SA while encoding a dvd and running a VM without any noticeable slowdown. So the answer my question from the last post, for now will be yes :)

The only thing now left to update is the graphics card but that can wait.
